Indian aviation could benefit from a possible de-escalation of the West Asia conflict following the US midterm election results, according to a Jefferies report. Reduced geopolitical tensions could lower aviation fuel prices and flight rerouting costs while supporting passenger traffic recovery. The report noted that Indian airlines and airports may see improved operating conditions, stronger demand and better profitability after months of disruptions and elevated airfares.
