Chennai Police have approached passport authorities seeking cancellation of businessman Prakash Kannaiah’s passport in connection with the POCSO cases involving industrialist R. Veeramani. Investigators believe Prakash is abroad, reportedly in the UK, and allegedly helped Veeramani conceal offences and evade police action. A Look Out Circular has also been issued against him. The Special Investigation Team is examining financial transactions linked to the case as its investigation continues.
