The United States accounts for 67% of India’s LPG imports, Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said. He also stated that India’s domestic refining capacity is targeted to reach 300 million metric tonnes per annum (MMTPA) by 2030. The developments highlight India’s efforts to strengthen energy supply chains and expand refining infrastructure to meet rising domestic demand.
