Singapore Airlines has warned that around 46,000 booking records may have been affected by a cybersecurity breach involving its reservation technology provider, Amadeus. Exposed information may include passengers’ names, booking references and travel details, while additional personal information may have been accessed in around 620 records. The airline said its own IT systems were not breached, payment details were not exposed and bookings were not modified. It is contacting affected passengers and changing booking reference numbers as a precaution.
