India is planning to make a separate law for Artificial Intelligence (AI). IT Secretary S. Krishnan said the law will help deal with problems such as deepfakes, fake videos, and false online content. The government wants to promote the safe and responsible use of AI while protecting people from misuse and reducing the spread of misleading information.
