Two Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra and Chetan Singh Jouramajra, are expected to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections. Both MLAs resigned from AAP’s primary membership a day after the party announced its first list of 40 candidates. The development comes amid internal disagreements and criticism of the Bhagwant Mann government.
