The government said that more than 44.73 crore Ayushman cards have been made under the Ayushman Bharat–Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY). These cards help eligible families get free medical treatment at approved hospitals across India. The scheme aims to provide affordable healthcare and reduce the financial burden of medical expenses for poor and needy people.
