Microsoft’s new cloud region in India will use effectively “zero water” for cooling, Microsoft India President Puneet Chandok said. The Hyderabad-based India South Central region is the company’s fourth cloud region in the country. Microsoft is expanding its cloud and AI infrastructure in India, with next-generation cooling technology designed to reduce water consumption while supporting growing demand for AI and cloud services.
