According to an MCD survey, only 31 of 2,453 PG accommodations in Delhi have a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Delhi Fire Service. The survey also found that fewer than 30 per cent of PGs have sanctioned building plans, raising concerns over fire safety, regulatory compliance and the legality of accommodations operating across the national capital.
