Left the family-owned business and started his own company.

The markets have a lot of water bottle companies.

From restaurants to weddings and office meetings, everywhere you see bottles.

A few bottles are circular and some are mineral-based, some are taste-based.

Yes, we are talking about a famous water bottle which has gone through serious changes.

Nayan Shah from Gujarat completed his education in Sydney and his well-wishers thought he would handle his family business.

But Nayan Shah never wanted to do it, so he chose an entirely different route for his business. He took up a job, and worked for 2 long years. He then realized he was not meant for the job. Along with one of his employees, he started a beverage business for energy drinks called current. He saw a unique gap where Indians were never used to energy drinking.

But unfortunately, that business failed after investing 2 crore rupees.

After a few failures, all his business plans failed.

He took a few day gap and again came back with new ideas.

He finally decided to sell water at a premium level, as it was a never-ending need. There have been different bottles on the market already.

But how can he enter and establish his water bottle?

Strategies

*He named it CLEAR premium water bottle.
*Most of the water bottles were circular and printed normally. CLEAR decided to make bottles in different shapes with big printing.
*Instead of manufacturing, they established sourcing for bottles to prepare which would cost them less price.
*Most of the bottles were around 10, 15, 20 rupees. But clear focused on premium look of bottle at an affordable price.
*Focused not on the lower level, but only at the premium level like restaurants, airlines, and cafes, this initiative brought massive success.
* Targetted Tourist destinations, corporate events.

* Advertisements with bollywood.

Challenges

During the covid time, all the businesses had to struggle due to massive losses.

After the crash, CLEAR identified their mistakes and started reaching out to retail and distributors, which regained their confidence back and today CLEAR brand has around 500 crore turn over, with 45 manufacturing units and 1.25 retail outlets producing 20 lakh bottles a day.
