Kotak Institutional Equities has raised its crude oil price forecast for FY2027 to $100 per barrel from $90, citing prolonged supply disruptions linked to the West Asia conflict, now stretching into its eighth month. Brent crude averaged around $104 per barrel during FY27 so far and was trading near $128 at the time of the report. Kotak expects prices to ease in the second half of FY27 if tensions do not escalate and global supplies continue to recover. Its FY28 and long-term forecast remains at $75 per barrel.
