As an emerging nation, we had less resources and development back then. Indra Nooyi always had restrictions at her home and had financial issues back then. She was always keen about academics and aspired to pursue them relentlessly. Her mother never wanted her to leave home, but destiny had a new plan. After completing an MBA from IIM, she decided to move to the USA for higher education. She has worked in various corporate organizations, like Motorola, Johnson & Johnson, Boston Consulting Group and finally Pepsi-Co. From an employee to reaching the highest ever positions.

She joined as head of the strategy team at Pepsi Co, and the company was struggling and losing its essence in the market. Many other competitors, like Coca-Cola, were doing really well with research, marketing, sales and with spectacular revenues. As she took charge, many people in the company were terrified about the company's growth. Experienced and senior CEOs and managers panicked, but her strategies were calm and unique. She faced criticism at work because of her ideas and decisions, but she never backed down.
