50% of the workforce earns ₹9,000 or less per month in India. The Economic Survey has published a report regarding the earning capacity of Indian society. It's a tentative data which has been going viral on Twitter (X).
If this data is expected to be true and scientifically proven, can you imagine the consequences of families who earn just 9,000 rupees a month?
What about their children and their school fees? Most people work in the industrial and manufacturing sector or agriculture sector.
Do you think they will ever dream about their future or career? Can they ever see growth or positions? The financial concerns of workers and high inflation in the economy have created prices to spike extremely high.
When such circumstances have occurred. Imagine the pressure they are growing through. Where are they even staying, how are they even paying the rent, food and travel expenses? As the population has been growing rapidly and becoming one of the highest populated nations. After 79 years of independence, what we have gained and lost has to be debated in the public domain. When we are not able to provide basic necessities and facilities for people, this is something which has to be reviewed and major changes should be made in pay scale of workers.
