India is preparing to finalize a ₹90,000-crore (€8 billion) Project-75I submarine deal with Germany. Under the agreement, six advanced submarines will be built in India with German technology support. The project aims to strengthen India’s naval capabilities, boost defence manufacturing, and promote the country’s Make in India initiative through greater local production.
