India Enforce Follow-On After Sri Lanka Bowled Out for 290
Colombo: India enforced the follow-on against Sri Lanka on Day 4 of the second Test after bowling the hosts out for 290, giving the visitors a commanding 213-run first-innings lead. India had declared at 503/9.
Sri Lanka's resistance was led by Sonal Dinusha, who scored a composed 103, his second successive Test century. India’s Prasidh Krishna and Manav Suthar claimed three wickets each, while debutant Saransh Jain took the final two wickets.
India, leading the series 1-0, now have Sri Lanka batting again as they push for victory in the Colombo Test.
