India and Bhutan signed a ₹4,000 crore Line of Credit to support energy projects during External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar’s visit to Bhutan. The agreement aims to strengthen bilateral energy cooperation and accelerate hydropower development. The initiative reflects India’s continued support for Bhutan’s economic growth while deepening strategic and development partnerships between the two neighbouring countries.
