How Panasonic is losing its essence in markets.

How Panasonic is losing its essence in markets.

Once upon a time, it was one of the largest market leaders. Then how come suddenly it is facing problems? Panasonic is one of the best brands which we all have experienced and bought their products. It has made a mark from Japan in the world. It has created a revolution in the markets by creating electric, TVs, hair dryers and more.

Is it going through a crisis ? But why?
In recent years, it has shared with Tesla worth 3.6 billion dollars. It has fired more than 15,000 employees from their company. Konosuke Matsushita founded Panasonic, his journey was full of ups and downs. He dropped out of school and eventually started working. Where his curious mind was always exploring and thinking of electronics, he worked so hard and eventually he became the manager in his job.

While working, he learnt all the skills and invented sockets and electronics. After a few years, the company had problems coming up and was losing revenue as few employees left the company. The company was about to shut down and eventually even he left the job. Finally, that day he decided to start his own business, started making lamps, sockets and electronic goods. A few years passed by, and his business slowly grew from 3 employees to 20. Eventually, he established a factory and became popular across local markets. During the world, Panasonic was forced to build war ships for technical support for war, many of its factories were taken away. During the nuclear attack, it also survived and lost many assets and the US pressured Panasonic to stop its operations. By dealing with all these ups and downs, Panasonic has become the market leader.

The major reason why Panasonic has lost its relevance is that they have stopped experimenting with their products like before. When innovation stopped, other market players have taken the opportunity and occupied their place at the local and international level. They have shut down refrigerators and washing machines as the competition has increased a lot and advanced tech-based products have dominated the markets. Lack of price decisions on products, many competitors were providing better facilities with affordable prices. Once a market leader, now starts suffering.
