Indian elections are celebrated like festivals

Fingers crossed across India, who's going to sit on the crown.


Indian elections have high-stakes environments and situations. All eyes are on television and digital screens as of today. As states like Assam, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry are about to have a battlefield for election results today.

The process of electing leaders is complex, as every other person is willing to occupy their own seats. The political speeches with promises and manifestos to convince people for a mandate. It proves how complex Indian elections are with multiple groups, communities, religions and with a huge population, convincing people and dynamics are crucial.

The battleground in Assam between INC and BJP, with Himanta Biswa Sarma, the current chief minister, along with his competitor Gaurav Gogoi constantly criticising each other for the battle, makes things interesting.

Another state which is extremely complex for this election where people are eagerly looking for is West Bengal, where whether the TMC can retain its stronghold against BJP is the question. The BJP is trying its best to capture power in Bengal as Suvendu Adhikari and Mamata Banerjee contesting for Bhabanipur is a fight between two tall leaders of bengal. It has always been politically active since independence, the state always witnessing extreme violence and prone to conflicts. The central forces being used massively and high profile candidates contesting elections makes the battle interesting.

Tamil Nadu, Keralam, Puducherry and the southern states have also had strong election limelight. Where the new party TVK of actor Vijay has contested elections, makes it a euphoric battle in Tamil Nadu. As he is a new face and coming from the film industry, with fiery speeches and statements, it makes people enthusiastic about him.  Keralam has a contest between Congress and the left, as congress has been wooing for power for 10 long years and Puducherry, being a small state, has also witnessed political situations worth watching.

Let's see who is going to win the elections, which will surely help Indian democracy to achieve milestones of development and growth.
