Deendayal Port Authority has awarded Essar Ports a ₹2,276 crore multi-purpose cargo terminal project at Tuna Tekra in Gujarat. The project will be developed under a public-private partnership model, with a 30-year concession period. Designed to handle 18.33 million tonnes of cargo annually, the terminal is expected to strengthen port infrastructure, improve cargo-handling capacity and support India’s growing trade and logistics sector.
