The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has extended its New Amnesty Scheme, 2025, by three months until December 31, 2026, giving eligible employers and insured persons more time to settle pending disputes. The one-time initiative aims to reduce court case backlogs and promote compliance. It allows eligible cases to be resolved through specified settlement terms, including relief from damages in certain circumstances. The scheme covers court cases filed up to March 31, 2025, and continues under existing terms and conditions.
