Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is at a “structural inflection point” as artificial intelligence shifts the focus from recording transactions to executing business workflows, according to a Bernstein report. The report said the next ERP cycle is likely to favour platforms that can turn AI-driven intelligence into trusted execution and measurable business value. AI is expected to increasingly reshape enterprise software by automating and coordinating complex workflows.
