More than 12.75 lakh people received entrepreneurship training, while India now has 14,688 ITIs and over 15,500 PMKVY training centers, including 7,000+ Skill Hubs in schools and colleges. For FY 2026–27, the government allocated ₹9,540.50 crore for skill development schemes, along with a ₹60,000 crore PM-SETU program to modernize 1,000 ITIs across the country. More than 26,000 enterprises have been created under various programmes
