Crude sourcing flexibility and the ability to process diverse grades are becoming key factors for Indian refinery margins amid geopolitical disruptions, according to a Yes Securities report. India’s crude import dependence rose to 88.7% in FY26, while its sourcing network expanded from 27 to 41 countries.
