The Central Crime Branch (CCB) on Wednesday conducted searches at the Tiruchirappalli residence of former Tamil Nadu School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi in connection with an alleged ₹100-crore private school approval scam. The probe concerns allegations that money was collected from school managements in exchange for government approvals and clearances.
