The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has reached Mansa, Punjab, to investigate the murder of anti-drug activist Parwinder Singh Jhotta. The move follows Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s assurance of a thorough probe. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced the transfer of the case to the central agency, fulfilling the family’s demand for a CBI investigation into the murder.
