Built a 6500 crore brand without understanding tech.

The story of Intex mobile begins with a unique start. Narendra Bansal has been working hard in Delhi. He moved from his house from Rajasthan and began his journey. Through struggling, Bansal started his business with simple tech products like floppy disks and hardware tools. He says he never understood technology but has always predicted that tech had money. During his initial days, bansal had many problems in life, making it hard for survival, but as time moved ahead, his business was profitable. He simply used to buy Taiwanese products and resell them in the Indian market. Slowly, one after another, things have started moving and his technological tools and quantity has increased.

Around 2007, Intex began its mobile operation in the market, the competition was lower and had introduced mobile phones into the market. Since day 1, Intex mobiles have been profitable and sales skyrocketed and made it profitable. Eventually, the Indian market, which had less technology, made his mobile phones turn into world-class devices. The business emerged as a popular brand and eventually the market had new Chinese-based brands like VIVO, OPPO, MI and one plus. Eventually when competetion has increased, Intex was losing its grip on the market, they had started seeing losses in the phone industry.

Intex used new strategies by collaborating with cricket teams and advertising their brand in the IPL, making them bring back their legacy to the market again. The smartphone market has reached its peak, making it one of the most popular with multiple Indian brands along with Chinese. Intex smartly understood the demand and competition. Even after capturing 1 percent of mobile phones market, they switched to home appliances and new variants, making it one of the established business brands with 6500 crore net worth.
