India has exported 7 metric tonnes of Bihar’s GI-tagged Makhana to Canada in its first-ever sea shipment of value-added flavoured fox nuts. The export marks a major milestone for Bihar’s traditional superfood, expanding its global reach and creating new opportunities for farmers, processors, and exporters while promoting India’s unique agricultural products in international markets.
