The Atal innovation mission is an ambitious mission which creates a sustainable future through innovations. The government launched to support young people of our nation to start problem-solving startups. It was started by Niti Ayog with an allocation of 2,750 crore by 2028 with a robust ecosystem for startups.
The Aim is to create proper human capital development, innovation, research-based, tech-based and international innovation systems. It launches new programs and policies, establishes standard platforms for creativity, and creates awareness regarding startups and their benefits.


Atal Tinkering Labs 
Schools-based labs where students learn innovation and STEM skills.
They build models, robots, and do hands-on experiments.

2. Atal Incubation Centres 
Support startups by providing funding, space, and mentoring.
Helps new ideas turn into successful businesses.

3. Atal New India Challenges 
Encourages solutions to important national problems.
Supports innovators with funding to develop useful products.

4. Mentor India Campaign
Connects experienced mentors with students and startups.
Guides them to improve ideas and innovation skills.

5. Atal Community Innovation Centres 
Promotes innovation in smaller towns and rural areas.
Gives facilities to local entrepreneurs and students.

6. Atal Research & Innovation for Small Enterprises 
Helps small industries and startups with research support.
Encourages technology-based solutions to industry problems.

*10,000 Atal Tinkering Labs established across India in schools.
* Over 1.1 crore students are actively learning innovation skills.
*72 Atal Incubation Centres (AICs) were set up for startup support.
More than 3500 startups have been incubated.
*These startups have created around 32,000+ jobs in India.
*Over 1000+ startups led by women entrepreneurs are supported.
*Around 6200+ mentors (Mentors of Change) guide students and startups.
*AIM has also launched national innovation programs like Atal New India Challenges and ACIC centres to solve real problems.

Atal innovation mission has done tremendous growth in the last few years. It would definitely scale up our growth for the future India. The innovation mindset would set large-scale benchmarks in young startups and entrepreneurship.
