Artificial intelligence company Anthropic reported a 1,127% year-on-year revenue surge to US$17 billion in the third quarter of 2026. However, rising computing and infrastructure expenses, which climbed 382% to US$9.9 billion, pushed the company to an operating loss of US$567 million, compared with an operating profit of US$974 million in the previous quarter. Adjusted operating income stood at US$2.5 billion, while its adjusted operating margin narrowed to 15% from 19%.
