Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has criticised sections of the media for allegedly misinterpreting his devotional chant, “Hathi Ghoda Palki, Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki”, as a challenge to his opponents. Clarifying that the words were a prayer dedicated to Lord Krishna, he accused certain outlets of disrespecting religious sentiments for publicity. He also questioned media accountability and urged journalists to avoid twisting statements out of context.
