Chinese startup Meng Xiaoyi has introduced an AI-enabled pet collar called PettiChat, which it says can interpret pets’ sounds, movements, and emotions with up to 95% accuracy. The device combines microphones, motion sensors, and AI technology powered by Alibaba Cloud’s Qwen model to generate human-readable interpretations of dog and cat behavior. Priced at about $118 (799 yuan), the collar has reportedly attracted more than 10,000 pre-orders.
