The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a USD 139.55 million loan to upgrade urban infrastructure and improve water supply facilities in Puducherry. The financing will support the Puducherry Integrated Urban Livability Improvement Project, focusing on modernising water supply and sanitation systems, improving urban connectivity and mobility, and developing climate-resilient infrastructure. The initiative aims to improve living conditions, strengthen essential urban services and promote sustainable development across the Union Territory.
