9 out of 10 foreign MBBS graduates failed the FMGE, with only 5,086 of 37,448 candidates (13.58%) qualifying to practice in India. The pass rate fell from 18.61%, many students pursue MBBS abroad after missing desired NEET ranks, but the FMGE highlights significant gaps in preparedness and medical education quality.
