India is set to receive a 6.94 lakh-tonne steel export quota under its free trade agreement with the European Union. The quota is expected to provide Indian steelmakers improved access to the EU market and support exports. The pact could strengthen India’s position in Europe while offering greater predictability for steel exporters amid global trade challenges.
