Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi inaugurated Maruti Suzuki's ₹35,000 crore automobile manufacturing facility at Kharkhoda, Haryana. Built over 800 acres, the state-of-the-art plant has an initial production capacity of 5 lakh vehicles per year, which will later increase to 10 lakh units. The project is expected to generate more than 21,000 employment opportunities while boosting India-Japan industrial collaboration.
