A report placed before the Supreme Court states that 326 sitting MPs and 14 Chief Ministers have criminal cases registered against them. Among Lok Sabha MPs, 251 face criminal charges, including 170 serious cases. In the Rajya Sabha, 75 members have cases pending. The findings highlight concerns over criminalisation in politics and delays in the judicial process.
