Cyclone Murasu has weakened into a deep depression over coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining Telangana, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The weather system is expected to weaken further into a depression and subsequently become a low-pressure area. Despite the reduction in intensity, rainfall and weather-related alerts may continue in affected areas. Residents have been advised to follow official IMD updates and safety instructions.
